How many Outlander drivers from ‘addition years’ 2013, 2014 and 2015 would still be driving around in their (mostly) plug-in hybrid SUV? The Outlander was not to be found in our country in those years, but Mitsubishi has since skillfully chased all those customers into the open arms of the competition. After all, there was simply no replacement, unless you want to see the smaller and now also available as a plug-in hybrid Eclipse Cross as such. Nevertheless, there is indeed a new Mitsubishi Outlander, which will be driving around in America and the Middle East from the beginning of 2022. In 2024, that car, which was already presented in 2021 and is therefore already three years old by then, will still come to Europe. In theory, this means we have an interesting newcomer. With an electric range of – in theory – about ninety kilometers, this plug-in hybrid Outlander performs excellently in that area, while not every competitor with four-wheel drive and a third row of seats can screen. Prices and versions are not yet available, but they will undoubtedly be announced in the run-up to the Dutch market introduction. Earlier today it was announced that there is much more news in the barrel at Mitsubishi: the brand wants to introduce no less than sixteen new models in the coming years. Not all of them come to Europe, but our part of the world will not be forgotten (anymore).
