Kia has come up with a new version for the electric EV6. The Kia EV6 was already available as Air, Plus, Plus Advanced, GT-Line and GT and is now also available as a GT-Line Edition. The GT-Line Edition is a special version that is only available with one powertrain. It always has the 77.4 kWh battery and a 229 hp electric motor on the rear axle. That combination is good for an electric range of 504 kilometers. Nothing new so far, the EV6 is already available as Plus, Plus Advanced and GT-Line with this combination of battery pack and electric motor. The GT-Line Edition naturally has everything that the basic Air version – only available for the 170 hp EV6 with 58 kWh battery – also has, but also has numerous extras from other versions. Including the highly positioned GT-Line, which in turn has everything that the Plus and Plus Advanced have to offer. For example, the Kia EV6 GT-Line Edition has the bumper work of the GT-Line and the wheel arch edges are executed in body color, just like on that version. The EV6 GT-Line Edition lacks Vehicle 2 Device technology, rear seat heating, front seat ventilation and things like the Median Premium Sound System, as well as a sliding/tilting glass roof, a head-up display with augmented reality and safety systems such as a highway assistant with lane change. and the new version does not have a 360-degree camera. You do get door handles recessed into the doors, matrix LED headlights, the Intelligent Headlight System (IFLS), dynamic turn signals, battery heating, a heat pump, steering wheel heating, black headliner, an induction charger, mood lighting, aluminum pedals, suede / vegan leather upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats and 20-instead of 19-inch alloy wheels.
