In 2022 we were able to tell you the first Dutch prices of the electric Vinfast VF8 and VF9. Then it came to the prices of the electric SUVs where you rent the battery pack via a monthly subscription. We just wrote about what the Vinfast VF8 should cost if you don’t want to rent the battery pack, but just want to tap it off in one go. We will now repeat that story, but this time about the higher positioned Vinfast VF9. Vinfast VF9 Like the Vinfast VF8, the VF9 started life with other model names. For example, the 5.12 meter long SUV initially went through the automotive existence as a VF33 and as a VF e36. That’s not the only thing the VF9 has in common with its smaller brother. Just like the VF8, the Vinfast VF9 is designed by design house Pininfarina and just like the VF8, the Vinfast VF9 will also be available in two versions, both of which are available with two battery pack sizes. There is a 92 kWh version and a package with a capacity of 123 kWh. The Vinfast VF9 Plus is the only version that is not only available as a seven-seater, but also as a six-seater with two captain seats in the back. An important difference: the VF9 always has two together 408 hp and 620 Nm strong electric motors and therefore only has one engine version for the time being. You should be able to accelerate the Vinfast VF9 to 100 km/h in less than 6.5 seconds. The Vinfast VF9 Eco with a 92 kWh battery can travel up to 438 kilometers on a full battery. If you combine that version with the 123 kWh battery, you can count on an electric WLTP range of no less than 593 kilometers. The Vinfast VF9 Plus comes with the 92 kWh battery up to 423 kilometers and squeezes 580 kilometers from the 123 kWh battery. The Vinfast VF9 Eco with a €92 kWh battery costs €83,600 in the Netherlands. The VF9 Eco with 123 kWh stands for €91,300 in the order books, so you will have to pay €7,700 more for the larger battery pack. The Vinfast VF9 Plus with 92 kWh battery costs €92,400 and exchanges with the 123 kWh battery €100,100. These are the prices including battery and without subscription construction. The seats in the second row are electrically adjustable in four ways. The VF9 Plus is more generously equipped and has 21-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic glass roof. The Plus has automatically dimming mirrors, a twelve-way electrically adjustable heated and ventilated driver’s seat with massage function and a ten-way adjustable one that is also heated and ventilated for the co-driver. The co-driver also enjoys a massage function. Regardless of whether you go for the Plus with or without captain seats in the second row, all seats in the second row are electrically adjustable, heated, ventilated and equipped with a massage function.
